Discover the hottest chicken competition in the UK... the Fried Chicken Championships, hosted by Quick Serve and Dine Out Magazines. This dynamic one-day competition celebrates the most innovative and talented fried chicken chefs across the UK’s out-of-home dining scene — from independent street food traders to fast-casual restaurant groups.

To enter the Fried Chicken Championships, entrants will have to submit the recipe for their prize signature dish which they will have to prepare on the day of the challenge.

Then, the 16 finalists chosen to compete in the final showdown will be asked to prepare several rounds of dishes on the day. This includes:

  • The Signature Round (the fried chicken dish they entered with)

  • The Perfect Platter Award (which will comprise of using sponsored products to create a flavoursome fare)

  • The Loaded Fries Round, sponsored by Lamb Weston

Our panel of industry judges will score all 16 chef dishes on the day and the winners of the Fried Chicken Championships will be announced at the evening reception to an audience of over 200 guests, including industry insiders, fried chicken enthusiasts and press.

Suppliers will have an opportunity to sponsor and showcase their products throughout the competition and evening reception.
